Installation Guide：
Note: *There is a BLUE or CLEAR film cover of the product for protection. Please remove this film before using it.
1. Clear up the surface of the placing area, make sure there's no wax or oil.
2. Use the self -adhesive tape on the back, peel and stick.
3. Press it firmly on the surface to ensure the trim is adhered well.
4. Heat Gun May be Needed If temperature is very low. heating the surface aids adhesion.
5. Do not wash the car within 2~3 days after application.

I used the 1" wide black trim for under the front bumper of my Lexus because it sometimes scrapes on parking space stops, and dips in driveways. It seems of good quality and comes with 2 small tubes of a solvent (acetone?) that you can use to brush onto the peel-and- stick backing for extra stickiness just prior to placing the molding. It's not necessary though, it is very sticky without it. So far (a few days) it's sticking well. It has a clear film on the front which easily peels off. Cut with scissors or utility knife.

Wanted this to trim the roof rain gutter of my 2014 Nissan frontier truck, fit perfectly in the roof track, and it looks great! Some other brand trim strips are not UV resistant, this product is due to its type of plastic so it should last longer. It is sticking well in the track using a heat gun to warm it up as I applied it so I haven't had to use the included liquid "adhesive helper". Good stuff!

Out of a dozen different brands of adhesive trims I handled this week, this one is the only clear and evident failure - can't stick no matter how perfect the prep. Unrealistic for me to nearly replace the sticky tape for the entire long roll, so it is effectively a bunch of wasted plastic and money now.

I put a wide body grille in my regular body scat pack. The bumpers are different so I had brackets showing and needed a way to hide them. This was the perfect solution. I put this strip on back in November of 22 it is now July almost august and still shows no signs of coming off!! I see a lot bad of reviews, but they just didn’t do it right. The surface cannot have any wax/ceramic coating at all must be 100% clean like new as possible, I used a little extra glue than recommended. If you have to curve the strip like I did use a heat gun or blow dryer before pealing the tape and shape it how you want! Hope this helps

The molding would not stick after tearing off the backing. I tried to use the glue provided, but the glue did nothing. Perhaps I should have bought Gorilla glue or another type of sticky tape. I had to have the molding strip installed by a professional. He used some type of double-sided sticky tape. the molding strips look great.
