I got these pants and their shorts version. They are fantastic, except for the pocket situation! The two front "pockets" are not pockets at all, and the back zipper-enclosed pockets are quite small. If there was even one real front pocket, these pants would get 5 stars from me because the material, fit, and durability of these pants is just great.

Quality construction. I use them for work pants. I don’t think they would be very comfortable over bike shorts. They run too small for that and the fabric is not very stretchy. Overall well worth the money for casual pants!

I am 6'4'', 128lbs and the size 6 fits me well, but 1 inch longer for my short legs. Could easily be alternated. That doesn't stop me from loving those pants. It's supper flexible and fitting. Material is stretching and breathable. Makes my leg look nice.It will be great for both work and play.I originally bought the pants for traveling but the material is heavy so it will not be good for light packing. :(

Bought these to Mountain bike in the cold in. Fits great, I can wear knee pads over the pants. And a chamois fits underneath. Good for keeping g legs warmer on cold muddy rides. Wish it had cargo pockets.

I LOVE these pants. I am 5'5" and 120 pounds and usually wear a ladies' size 4. I purchased these in the size 4 and 6, and the 4 was just too tight for me. My 19 year old daughter would probably like the fit of the 4, but I wanted just a bit of room through the leg, not a legging style pant. These have just a TINY bit of room through the leg in a size 6 and are by no means baggy. They are made for cyclists who commute to work, but as a suburban mom, I absolutely love the feel and drape of the fabric: they're perfect for work but stretch in EVERY direction, making them my favorite pants for work or the weekends. If they had them in lots of other colors, I'd likely buy one of each. The size 6 fits as if it were tailor-made for me. Catching them on sale in the $20-$30 price range made them a no-brainer. I'd think twice if I were paying the full $85 price, but even then, they are probably worth it. Thanks, Giro, for making such an awesomely comfortable pant!

Ordered these in black because I had purchased the sage-colored ones to use for hiking in England. These pants are fantastic for biking AND hiking.
