Ordered size 6-7 for my granddaughter who wears Suze 5-6, some 6x. The bottom is a brief cut which is good and not too big at the leg opening. The colors are pretty. Decided to order another color.

My daughter is 6, but is on the thicker side. We ordered 3 different sets of these. I got the patriotic 3 pc. set, the purple "sporty" set, and the rainbow mermaid scale set. They were all sized perfectly (we ordered the 9-10 for one of them, and the 8-9 for the other two, just to give it some variety if they weren't true to size. (That way we would have the size 9-10 for her to wear while I sent the other two back, but if the size 9-10 was too big, I figured she could just grow into it.) Amazingly enough, the smaller two fit perfectly, and the 9-10 is just a bit roomier, but she will still be able to wear it this year. The material quality is amazing, thick, well made. The colors are bright and vibrant. It is comfortable, easy for her to put on herself, has good coverage, and I am amazed at the quality for the price. I'm a mom on a budget, so if you find yourself surfing reviews to make sure you're not buying a "wish" dud, have no fear! These suits are mama approved. (Also, side note, the 3 PC sets with a skirt are cute as f. Lol)

My 9 year old wears an 8/10 in most clothes. I ordered the 9/10 in one color and the 10/12 in a different color. The 9/10 tankini/bottom was so tight she couldn't even get it on. The size up was also a strange fit -- tight around middle and gapped around neck and arm. Also the bottoms are right around the legs and cut like old lady briefs, not cute swim bottoms. The skirt of the purple marble did not match at all to the top/bottom -- the color was a totally different purple, more brown than purple. I won't be trying it in another size.

I was so surprised at the great quality of the fabric and elastic of the swimsuit. We go to the creek often and swimming in the pool. My granddaughter has and will get so much wear from this suit. Iād definitely recommend and would purchase again

Bought for 5 year old granddaughter who picked it herself. She is a little small for age but usually wears a 6 to 7. The suit looked cute but was a bit large as on the bottom as several reviews stated. She wore it anyway as she really liked it and it stayed on! The summer is early and she will grow. I would have exchanged it but there was no smaller size.
