The item is too small. It fits over her head because that part is stretch material, but the rest isn't. Therefore, the gown doesn't go beyond her neck. She can't put it on.

We didn’t have my daughter try it on before we washed it, so maybe they shrunk up, but we sized up for a 10-12 for my tall, almost 9 year old. The gown length is what we hoped for, but 3/4 sleeves is not.

I would give this 10 stars if I could!! I bought this last minute to dress my little girl up as Cindy Lou Who for Christmas. Came promptly the next day which I usually expect with Amazon but what blew me away was the quality! The material is so thick and soft. My little girl would live in it if she could! She is very thin and wears a little girls size 6. I ordered a 7/8 so she would be able to grow into it. It was a perfect fit with room to grow. The elastic in the sleeves keeps them from hanging over which I love since I ordered a bigger size. She dances around in it and says she feel like a princess. It's by far her favorite item of clothing now. Win for Mom! 🙌🏻

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter. This nightgown is super soft inside and out, it is thick and warm, and is a beautiful soft pink. My kid LOVES it and wants to wear it every night. I have probably washed it 10 times since Christmas and there is no sign of wear and tear, except for a slight fray on the end of the ribbon. Very pleased.

I bought these for my 7yr & 11yr old. Fits my 7yr perfect in the 130 size and she is in a 6/6x at Target currently & can handle a 7sz in length, but not width. My 11yr old though is in a size 0/1 at Target because she is getting a young ladies body and these nightgowns are to straight for her. The 150sz was good on length, but it was not roomy enough at hips. We love these gowns, but am returning the larger one. The smaller size has washed up well, but I didn't dry it. I hung it in laundry room and only tossed in dryer for a few mins when it was almost dry to fluff it a bit. Still looks great! She wears if almost every night! Wish this company made young adult or women's XS in this gown. Will buy more styles for my 7yr for sure.
