I gave this to my friend when she lost a family member but I did also include an angel and a heartfelt card because it didn't feel right just by itself. I did have to buy AAA batteries for this and I turned it on before giving it to her. It is pretty small but its fairly cheap so maybe consider buying a separate larger mason jar if you want it bigger in size. Honestly would not get this again as this is pretty easy to make yourself. It doesn't look bad but it screams low quality.

This little light is so pretty! I love the saying that is on it. The words are clear with no smudging or blurriness at all. The brightness is perfect for a night light or even just a little light. I also like that it's the perfect size to put just about anywhere. You could put it on your desk, your entertainment center, your nightstand, or even a shelf. It is a beautiful addition to any room!

The overall appearance of this " MOM" jar os very elegant. It looks phenomenal at night all glowed up. It's very useful as it's a jar that opens up that you can keep whatever you'd like to keep inside of it. The size is a normal mason jar. The only problem I had was with the battery cover. It kept coming loose and didn't want to light. We had to get some tape to hold it into place where it'd light up. It does come with a battery. Overall, I would recommend this "mom" Jar for it's a great sentiment with a beautiful quote and design.
