Well made, super cute but smaller than I thought, but that's on me. I do suggest that you change the (sexist sounding) description of a "gift for her" to perhaps a "gift for her or him" since more and more males are crocheting and knitting.

The whole idea behind this product was that yarn is drawn through the cutout at the back of the bowl. this area has not been sanded or smoothed in any meaningful way which will result in the yarn being frayed by the rough edges. This renders the bowl unusable for its intended purpose.

I bought this as a gift for my grandmother who has been knitting her entire life. She was a seamstress before she retired and she was extremely impressed with the cute design and the functionality of the bowl and how well it keep the yarn under control while she's knitting.

This yarn holder is so cute BUT the spiral that holds the wool is unfinished and so it frays the wool as you are working. I can’t believe any knitter/crocheter would use this item. Good thing about it was it was very easy to return. No I would not recommend this and a definite no I would not buy it again.
