Your cart is empty.This windshield clear sensor gel pad will replace the original clear Sensor Gel Pad located in the housing between the sensor and windshield glass. Generally, this Sensor Gel Pad is required to make the wiper blades to go on automatically when it rains. If the vehicle’s windshield was replaced recently and the Sensor Gel Pad between the sensor and windshield was not replaced, or the original Sensor Gel Pad dried up, it will require replacement with a new Sensor Gel Pad, otherwise the Rain Sensor System will not function properly or not function at all. We recommend to check if there is an existing gel sensor pad between the sensor housing and the windshield, or checking the condition of the original rain Sensor Gel pad, before going and replacing the complete Rain Sensor System housing, which would be an expensive and costly project to begin with. The trimming around the edges of the pad was a bit ragged. Does not affect the function but little un-tidy looking.The pad installed easily and functions correctly.NOTE: After replacing the gel pad, calibration of the Rain Sensor is required for proper operation.

Fitment was good. Was able to successfully calibrate the rain sensor. No issues and easier than dealing with the two part gel type.

Ever since having the windshield replaced the auto wipers didn’t work which meant I only had Off, Low and High. No intermittent which didn’t seem like a big deal until I needed not off and not low. Turns out you just pop the sensor off the bracket, take off the old gel and apply this! It’s tedious removing the old gel and that is the MOST important step. I used rubbing alcohol and q tips and that made a HUGE difference

This thing is amazing. It fixed my rain sensor. After a new windshield was installed, the tech re-used the old pad which led to the rain sensor not working. This gel pad replacement corrected the issue for me.
