seems like a factory replacement. at my last service, my dealer must have laid mine down somewhere and by the time I noticed it missing I couldn't prove it was them.

Perfect replacement on a 2000 tacoma w/3.4 L V6. I bought this because the original cap's fat rubber seal had compressed enough over time that it was no longer serving as an effective oil seal, regardless of how hard I twisted it on. I could have fiddled with it to correct this, but figured my truck deserved the treat of spanking brand new oil filler cap at a reasonable price. Snug, sealed and happy again.
