My 2015 sierra had 70k miles when I did the strut swap and the factory insulators were split and brittle.The price is tough to swallow, initially but, you'll be happy you did.Factory oem part.

The original isolators were cracked after 90K miles. The price for these was a bit high for just a piece of plastic the size of a saucer. However I needed them for my strut replacement project.Easy to install? No, due to the fact replacing struts is not a project for those that are not mechanically inclined nor have any clue how dangerous that task is.I imagine these will crack over time but I think that is just going to be case as they are sandwiched between a steel plate and a heavy duty spring.I'm not sure if you can find other isolators for cheaper but I tend to go with OEM parts when I can. I only recommend these if you absolutely have to have them.
