I have been ordering my Toyota Brand oil filters from Amazon for over a year now that I had been maintaining the wife's Camry. I heard it all, of claims these Toyota filters are of less quality than the Toyota dealer counterparts. So I purchased a few of the genuine dealer filters for comparison to these and I couldn't tell any different of the quality. Of course I don't wait until the manufacturer 10K oil/filter changes using synthetics which is mind blowing to do. DIY oil change is around $35 vs $7000 for a new engine. I perform mine at 5K and the Camry purrs as a kitten so if I can get Toyota genuine quality for a few bucks less from Amazon, definitely worth it delivery at my door within two days.

What can I say - it's a Toyota replacement, so you know it's perfect. Got tired of breaking teeth on the original composite housing and decided to go metal. (plus having a decent wrench that fits snug helps)

Absolutely not Stainless Steel as quoted in specifications, fraudulent statement, Misrepresented statements. It is aluminum,But the machining,casting looks highly precision. Would I recommend this canister yes if it fits your vehicle, supposedly it fits my new 2023 Toyota Tacoma off road 3.5 V6. I will be using it when I change the oil at 15,500, I'll update the outcome on fit, performance.I only have 13,188. Miles with four oil changes, two dealership under warranty plan, two by me. Two oil samples for analysis testing. ,as far as stainless steel! Aluminum, two different metal materials, difference in cost, this aluminum one original equipment should have been half price not $51.00, buyer beware!

so worth doing and don't freak out that it dest really tighten down like a regular can style as it's boring based so it's just snug and a clip is placed to prevent any chance of it unscrewing itself from the engine block. The 4runner meaplastic oil cannister toyota? what were you thinking (seemed like a time delay fuse waiting to crack and leak so at least this part exists and its toyota Oem basically so long as you swap the centermeshs it's factory legit again. Can't imagine why they didn't put the metal one as standard on their ultra reliable cars as it's definitely gonna cost them reputation down the line

Bought this to replace the terrible plastic oil filter cover on my 2020 Tacoma. This was a great value and more of a preventative maintenance from the dreaded cracked oil filter housing issues that plague the 3rd gen Tacoma. No issues with fit and the truck has well over 10,000 miles on it with ZERO issues. Would highly recommend all 3rd gen Tacoma owners buy this!

This was an absolute perfect fit for my 2013 RAV4 Limited. For those who said that the large o-ring groove is not in the proper location, they do not know what they are talking about and probably should never even attempt to install this part on their vehicle. The o-ring groove is below the threaded portion. There are several videos on Youtube that show the exact location of the o-ring groove. So, be sure to watch those videos before doing this installation. I must say that this all metal housing is far more durable than the original plastic housing that this vehicle came with. Glad that I found this here on amazon. Even all of my local Toyota dealerships do not carry this particular all metal housing. Be sure to add fresh oil to the threads to reduce the likelihood of thread galling. And add a thin layer of fresh oil to both o-rings. This is a must buy for anyone with a 2.4 or 2.5 liter Toyota engine. It will last far longer than any plastic oil filter housing. Toyota really should have gone with these instead of the plastic housings. I bought a 2nd one for another vehicle. Don't hesitate. Get one!
