My kids love this thing! Only problem.. eggs have become expensive and my kids are now asking for eggs every day!!! Be prepared to boil a big pot of them at a time to quell your childrens intrigue and requests!!!

Ser Reginald von Pirate Guy won't eat an egg unless it's dino shaped now. A lot of work for me but totes worth it. You do need a formidable egg to make this work. Smaller eggs just don't have what it takes to be molded, so get the extra large eggs for best results.

Works okay for hard boiled eggs, works better as a jello mold. My grandson is obsessed with dinosaur. He was unimpressed by hard boiled eggs as hardly looked like dinosaur. But green yellow in it was major hit.

Did I need it? No. But did I have to have it? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely!*Note: Works best on larger eggs. The one pictured prior to imprint was kind of on the small side and the imprint wasn't very successful. The one pictured with the imprint was the larger egg out of my 3 eggs (it just didn't peel too well) and was successful.

Fun and very easy to use . Comes out looking like mold . I get large human certified eggs and they fit well.Hope this helps 🖖🏻

I bought this as something fun to do with eggs I take to work for lunch. I normally use large eggs, but they clearly weren't large enough for the mold to make a full impression. When I pulled the egg out of the plastic mold, some small pieces stuck and the egg tore. I used a little Pam spray grease on the next one and it came out without issue and didn't discolor the egg or leave an oily taste. You will need to wipe the egg down when you take it out to wipe the remaining grease off, but a quick flip in a paper towel will do the trick. It wouldn't be uncommon to get a slight raised ridge where the mold pieces meet. You can take a small knife to shave those off. I also put a drop of red food coloring on a Q-tip, carefully dabbed the teeth and back of mouth to give it a bloody grin. o much food coloring on the cotton will cause it to "bleed" beyond the teeth, but that may add character to the cast. Overall, very happy with it and my friends think it's a hoot at lunch to gnaw down on some dino-skulls!

I’ll add a photo but for now: these are fun, perfect, and have converted my kids from egg salad. Now I can just give them hard-boiled eggs. I have two and they do look great after 10-15 minutes. Mold, prep plates and drinks, and unmold. Ta-da, best parent in the world until naptime!
