I bowl four times a week. I recently lost weight and my thumb hole is a little big . I like the way the orange tape is a little rough making my thumb fit more secure in the ball without sticking

High quality. My son uses these for his knees and thumbs in his sport. Keeps area from tearing and provides padding. We are on our third box and the stickiness is perfect. They don’t tear off w sweat. Great value for the money spent.

My thumb size grows/shrinks a lot due to ambient weather conditions. In summer I can barely fit the ball, and in winter I struggle to hold onto the ball. I’m too cheap to buy switch-grips. Putting grip tape into the thumb hole, then taking it out again each night is a pain. So I normally just layer performance tape and remove layers as the evening progresses.From the box cover:Thick Fit, Protects Skin, Medium-Slow ReleaseExcel 4 has a slower release speed due to its higher friction, medium weave cotton material. The combination of thickness and weave pattern make this a great “base” option for layering tape.What I like about the Excel 4 Copper Med-Slow is that it’s thicker to begin with. So instead of having to layer 3 pieces of thin tape, I can sometimes get away with just using one piece of this Excel 4 tape. I’ve only used it twice, but on both occasions the tape worked as advertised and left no residue on my skin or thumb-nail after it removing the tape.
