Worked fine for a 2004 Silverado 1500 v6. Having to uninstall it and re-install about 4 times while setting up the cables, it became an easy final install and fit same as the original. No problems.

Worked perfectly, at half the cost of the auto part stores.2001 Silverado 1500 LS 4x4 extended cab.Don't pull the pin until the assembly is installed and the cable is connected.

Was hard to install and adjust parking brake cable but it was necessary in order to pass state inspection. Fair Price for part. I took slow delivery since I was not in rush.

Fit as a replacement for a broken (bent foot pedal) parking brake in 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe.No instructions. Odd packaging (came in a cardboard box with the parking brake assembly inside two heavy paper bags that appeared to be from a grocery store. The switch may not be working properly on the unit I received. I get a blinking parking brake light when applied -- will need to buy a replacement switch to know for sure if the switch on the unit as received is bad.When connecting to the intermediate brake cable, two persons required. One under truck to pull on the cable and one in the cab to pull the brake release cable while simultaneously lifting up on the parking brake pedal-- this allows the mechanism to release the cable so the person under truck can pull cable out (and potentially use vice grips to clamp it in the fully extended position while connecting intermediate cable).

Everything here and other online sources say that this item does NOT fit an 07 Suburban. But the part they say that does fit is nothing like what is in the vehicle.So I removed the old part and it is EXACTLY the same as what is pictured here. I ordered this item and it fit and worked perfectly.BUT ! The provided release handle is too wide to fit into the narrower dash opening, so I could not use that specific part.This was not a problem because you can easily remove the release handle and cable from your old part and put it on the new assembly. I replaced this item a couple years ago anyway and really didn’t need it.So yes, the major parking brake assembly and the connected E-brake cable will indeed fit and work on your 2007 Suburban.You will just have to reuse your existing release handle.

The parking brake assembly is a little bit of a pain to install. In this, patience is the key. Everything fit exactly as the original part did. Works perfect.

When I ordered this I wasn’t sure if I would get the real deal since it was so much less than my local stores or various online sources had it for. On arrival I was amazed that it was a real ACDelco part, brand new, and identical to the one I was replacing except for wear. Excellent value.Be careful during the removal of the old pedal and installation of the new one. It mounts in a very hard to reach area, has some heft to it and is surrounded by fragile wires and computer parts. Go slow, make sure you don’t drag any wires out, scrape any wires or smack anything. It takes time, but you can save a ton in labor.

Product installs but when trying to depress the parking brake pedal part of the assembly contacts the dash and does not allow engagement of parking brake. After getting unit fully installed I had to remove the unit and remove about of inch of extra material from the part of the assembly that moves when depressing the parking brake pedal. Upon investigating the unit is made slightly different from the factory part. The application data says this is compatible with 2003 Chevrolet Silverado HD. This unit does not seem to engage the parking brake as effectively either. I would like to return this in favor of 25780187 however I had to modify the part to make it work so I am not sure if this company will accept it for a refund. I would gladly pay the difference between this product and 25780187. Do not rely on the application data here. Remove your part first and make sure that the photo matches what you removed from your vehicle.
