Used this on a 2005 saabb97x(trailblazer/envoy) since the customer accidentally broke the unit. Thought i was going to need to do the theft relearn but as stated in the questions, since we used the same keys no theft relearn was necessary. Installed and fired up no problems.

Used this for my 06 Pontiac Grand Prix! At the parts stores they want you to purchase the whole ignition kit then you have to get a key made and coded, which I only needed this lock sensor and there was nothing wrong w my key/lock mechanism in the ignition. So anyways this find saved me money. Very happy with it.
