Llevo tres meses este modelo A8 y ya he tenido muchos problemas con la velocidad para navegar y abrir archivos. Te recomiendo buscar apple mini. Me a dejado mal este producto. Evita problemas y ve a lo seguro. La tengo a la venta por si alguien se interesa.

I have had the device for a few weeks or so. It seems great overall but the big problem is the intermittent WiFi connection. It also sometimes makes fan noise when doing basic operations. The OS loaded just fine and the setup was easy. Just be mindful of power supply connection, I had to replace the power connection head as it did not match our local power source.Overall it's great value for money.

What a fantastic little device. I picked it up as a remote machine for dev work and have been blown away by it's performance for such a small & low power system. The N100 processor really shines here!As a 'daily driver' it's a perfectly capable PC with Windows 11 installed as long as you aren't looking to do any resource intensive tasks like gaming. It also serves as a cheaper alternative to an entry level laptop for anyone who already owns a monitor & input devices.I really like that it doesn't give me any hassle when booting up without any display or input devices connected. Just power and a network connection (wifi or ethernet) is all I need, so it can sit comfortably away in a corner of my desk where I can remote in as needed.

The wifi adapter disconnects easily, every 5 minutes, making it impossible to stay connected or download heavy programs constantly. I'm not a novice on the subject and after updating the drivers and testing at short and medium distance it kept disconnecting easily. I had to end up buying an external tplink router to solve the problem, otherwise the equipment works without problems. Another thing that I miss is that on the manufacturer's page it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to find in the download area the original drivers for this equipment that is the geekom A8, there were those for other mini pc, but not those for this A8..... I hope they correct it and if you read me GEEKOM PLEASE send me the link, I would really appreciate it. THANKS

Update: the second A8 I purchased died and decided to overheat to the point where touching it was painful. I am trying to get support for it and will modify my rating based on the support I receive.I have several mini PCs I have purchased over the years, and this is the first one with enough graphical power to take when I am travelling to play games in the hotel.The packaging is minimalistic- containing the computer, power cord, HDMI cable and the VESA mounting plate if you want to attach to the back of a monitor.In my case, we bought two - one for me and one for my son to take on a few upcoming trips. I had a pair of portable monitors, and a fold up stand for them, so I thought the install should be quick and easy. However I found the smaller VESA mounting holes would not quite align with the bracket on hte monitor or the monitor stand, so I had to grind the holes inwards - about 1/8" each to get the bracket to align with the holes on the mount and monitor.Otherwise - the install went great- windows 11 was pre-loaded with recent patches, and overall the machines work well. I was playing Warthunder at 90 FPS in medium settings on my wide screen (5120x1440) monitor , and it was even better on the portable monitor running at 2560x1600.The CPU/GPU does get hot in these runs, hitting 85C, but this is an extreme case for a mini pc.I have also tried the USB4 Port with an external GPU using a thunderbolt 3 EGPU adapter, and it worked flawlessly there as well.All in all I am very happy with these units, and decided not to dock a star for the mounting hole issue

This replaced my 13 year old i7 tower desktop and I could not be more pleased with this product. I don't do a lot of gaming on it but I do use it as a Hyper-V virtual host for creating virtual machines (usually Linux) for my hobby tinkering passion.

One of the best PC purchases have made of late... Very well built, fast for the work I go and the small form factor keeps the desk clean... Would love to upgrade the RAM at some stage to 64 or 96Gb.Perfect for work related use which is not very demanding on graphical content. The onboard Graphics AMD 780M is fairly good and deals with 4K video and less demanding gaming fairly well.I am usually into making my own rig but was looking to replace my work PC (which was a Dell Laptop used as a desk device) and could not have made a better decision.Hope the device works well long term also.Thanks, GEEKOM for a Great device and prompt delivery by AMAZON.Cheersnote- I preferred using the onboard 2.5G LAN connector as my mesh router was right next the PC, hence cannot comment on the WIFI capability.

Update 7/3/2024: After my initial issues with GEEKOM customer support, things got a lot better. All the bluetooth issues have been resolved very satisfactorily. The technician that contacted me was very helpful and acted proactively to resolve the problem. Thank you Shirley.Original Review: The computer was easy to set up and run. However, several months after purchasing the computer, the video image froze as soon as I turned on the bluetooth. It took me several attempts turning on and off to figure out that the problem was caused by me turning on the bluetooth. The technical support from Asurion (extended warranty that I purchased with the computer) were very helpful. They remotely updated related drivers but the problem persisted whenever the bluetooth was on. The technician could not help further because the extended warranty does not cover hardware for the first year since this is covered by the manufacture warranty. So, I contacted Amazon customer support, which provided a GEEKOM website in Taiwan. After I describing the problem, they sent an email requesting that I disassemble the unit, unplug a "memory stick," plug the "memory stick back on," and then restart the unit to determine if the problem was corrected. First, it is my understanding that doing this would void my warranty. Second, I am not a qualified computer technician and I do not have the necessary tools. This is why I bought the extended warranty. Amazon should provide support here in the U.S. to at least help communicate with the GEEKOM technical support in Taiwan. I don't understand why a memory stick would be the problem with the video image freeze.

I just want to say that the Customer Service was probably the best experience I have ever had. Talk about standing behind their product. Shirley went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with resolving my issue. If you're on the fence about buying from GEEKOM, all I can say is don't hesitate.The fact that they offer a 3 year warranty should tell you everything. They have just earned a customer for life.
