Too Big sloppy shifter

Tried to install this shifter cable on 20 Polaris Ranger, and the top threaded end was not keyed so it would not fit in the slot into the bracket. Thought I would save money getting after market instead of polaris, but I found out different.

It has a larger Guage cable then the original one. I did have to make a modification with a carbide multi tool to make room for larger washers on the new cable,but it works well. I have a 2019 Polaris Ranger 1000xp.
