I got this for my Kia Sorento 2014 because the original one accidentally got lost when on a road trip. It works but I’m worried that it doesn’t get the tightest seal. I’ll keep it unless I find something better.

My car had the check engine light on and I didn't know why, so I did some quick research online and found out that a bad gas cap could be a reason. I checked my gas cap and sure enough, that thing was rusty, crusty, and just past its prime. I found this product and bought it. This was my first time ever doing this, so maybe I was bit clueless; fortunately, it was easy to assemble and replace the cap. Sure enough, the check engine light was out and my problem solved. It's been working well since and I'm glad I bought this item. My car is a Kia Forte LX 2018, so I can vouch for this car model that it works seamlessly

Our 2018 Kia Soul had a check engine light come on. My husband has a small code scanner, and the code that came up meant to first check the seal on the gas cap. I bought this one as our local automotive parts store was out of stock. I purchased this one in particular because of the description saying it had double seals. Well, the check engine light came back on. We tried both the new and the old gas caps, but after clearing the code each time, the check engine light would come back on. Thinking we might have a bigger problem, we took it to our local mechanic. They felt it was the gas cap, but after I told them I just put a new one on, they ran the smoke test and $260 and a new gas cap later, the check engine light does not come on now. If I could give zero stars for this product, I would.
