Very messy tool. Leaves more imprints on my hands than crushing garlic, which makes a mess.

This gadget does take a bit of pressure. I put the heel of each hand on each end of the press and rock it back and forth a couple times. You'll have nicely minced garlic. Not hard to clean out the holes, just run it under a hard stream of water. I thought the little rubber garlic clove peeler sleeve would be useless, but it works! Put the clove inside, roll it back and forth on the counter with your palm, pressing down firmly, then when you tip the clove out the garlic skin remains inside! Rinse it out and you're done. No more stinky fingers!

It is was an utter waste of time and money. It is very tiny 4”x2” at best, so it requires a substantial amount of brute strength to press town hard enough, then it roll both ways. But even then it would not go all the way through the garlic. I’m no wimp and I threw a lot into it, but I still had to cut the garlic cloves in half first and even then, it still only went partially through the garlic. Manybe hald way through it, so the cloves stuck to this thing and had to be cut off. I then had to use a tooth pick to push the small portion of garlic out of it. For the price, I was expecting something much closer to 7-8” so the leverage would be much more substantial as with enough leverage to make any resistance to be much less, but no, it is far too small for that… Utter waste of money and I don’t know what else it might be good for… A paper weight maybe to help me remember things are not always what they are advertised to be, and sometimes they do not work at all as expected . It should have come with some kind of hard rubber press thru cleaner pad to clear all the holes at once…it takes time & patience to clear one clogged hole at a time. Ease of cleaning is zero

Easy to use. Pieces are more like the size of big crumbs instead of the 1/8" squares I'm used to. But gone are the days of being able to use a regular garlic press.

I really like this thing. The sleeve works well for peeling the husks off, and the press is very efficient and much easier to clean than a standard garlic press. I squirted a bunch of garlic juice on myself when I used it, so from now on I'll wear an apron! But it's totally worth it, in my opinion. It does produce larger chunks than the paste or mince of a standard garlic press, but that's fine w/me. If you cross-press the garlic a couple of times it produces more of a paste or fine mince, if that's what you want. It's still easier to use and clean than a standard garlic press.

It’s larger than expected. It does indeed mince it. Although I’d like it a bit smaller size aScrape of the garlics off the press and rock it over them again give a better job from what I do and no smelly hands. I liken it to what jar type garlic. If you want pressed just take your kitchen mallet make it more mush. Simple to use good saves time. The free garlic peeler is not the best have to really roll and it’s large. The key chain I do not see why that’s added but whatever. So seems I’m not wow this is great and not bad I’m a neutral middle. The holes on sides to pull fresh herbs off will be nice to see how it works. I’m sure much easier getting dill for salads. Solid it won’t break it won’t rust.

I loathe fiddling about with garlic presses and detest cleaning them afterwards. This is quick and easy to use, doesn't leave you with lumps in the press to gouge out and is very easy to clean. Gosh I love this

Awesome! I highly recommend it. It’s one piece so shouldn’t fall apart, very sturdy and sharp. Perfect, I love it, every home should have one!

The garlic mincer works great. It produces garlic pieces that are as big as those that competent cooks get with a knife. So if you are looking for smaller than that, this is not for you. The other consideration is that each time you use it you will need to wash a cutting board. I have lots and I can throw them in the dishwasher, but I can see this being an objection to some.It comes with a rubber sleeve to peel garlic that also works great. Even when the peels don't come off entirely, it separates them from the clove, so they are very easy to remove. The two together make the entire process very fast. Put several cloves in the sleeve (up to 4 at a time), rub them to take the peels off, then press them on a cutting board, one after another, without having to remove one to press the next. Also, because the press is made of steel and it doesn't have any moving parts, it can go in the dishwasher without any consideration or special arrangement. It comes out with absolutely nothing attached to it.Love it.

What I like:1. Stupidly simple and easy to use.2. It's design. Simple and effective.3. Think stainless steel. You won't break it.4. Incredible value for the money. What I don't like:They're is nothing to dislike about this product.I researched a number of items to work with fresh garlic and herbs - presses, graters, choppers. This one seemed too simple to be true, and I'm a believer in simplicity. I gave it a shot and have been using it routinely ever since. The mince it creates is tiny so it's perfect for every recipe I've used it on. It's incredibly sturdy as it's stainless steel, and cleanup couldn't be easier. A small brush can get out any stuck pieces, but a good strong spray from the sink usually does the trick. I can't recommend this enough.
