No one ever thinks about what's happing inside you garbage disposal. Why would they? Nothing should go down there other than what is intentionally sent there Right? Wrong! Have you every dropped something in there you wanted back? If so, you know you have no other choice than to secure the switch from your family then wiggle your hand down there to retrieve whatever you're fishing for. When you pull you hand back out it is covered with all kinds of putrid debris and nastiness. Or when you turn on the disposal there can be a little bounce back splash from the interior. Sucks...A little dish soap and this brush every other month and this concern becomes less of an issue. The shape is just right...

The brush is excellent for cleaning the disposal flap, particularly the ones that are not removable. It dislodges all the built-up gunk but requires several passes. It also does a great job cleaning the removable flaps. I would suggest running water while cleaning to avoid the splash as the brush is removed from the disposal.

I have a friend she came over to clean my much smelling food disposal with her hand. Scared to me. I saw these on Amazon. I bought the 2 brushes. One for her, when she helps seniors clean out their disposals. One for me to clean out our disposal.

People say buy locally, not online. Bah! Amazon has had outboard motor water pump repair kits, damp rid products, snap ring pliers sets, Huusk knives and a number of things I can't find here. Prices are noticeably lower on many products. We needed these disposal brushes that reached places we thought unreachable. Bristles are strong and thick and worked well.
