The standard steel rollers are so noisy, not very close tolerance roller on pins. These rollers seem to be a very precise assembly, much much quieter. Next make sure to lubicate your track to also aid in quiet operation. Caution! The lowest rollers should NOT be removed as they are integrated with the high tension springs/counterweights for the door!! Deadly !

I bought these to replace the 30 year old ones and it is the difference between night and day. They were easy to install except for the bottom ones. Once I figured it it was smooth. Love the SS bearings and nylon. Very quiet.

These were very easy to instal. And it makes the movement so quite. Just remember to raise the door all the way up to do the bottom one that is attached to the cable. All the way up is not under any tension.
