This Black Series Garage Door Rollers Hardware Parts, Sealed 6200ZZ Bearing Extra Quiet Nylon Roller Long Lasting, 7 inch Stem, Pack of 10 Heavy Duty Protective Seal for Hinges were ordered to replace the 35 year old rollers on my garage door. Not necessarily because they needed it, but my springs have not been lasting and I thought that anything to reduce friction would help. The product came well wrapped but without instructions. Yes, the installation is pretty self-explanatory, but I like instructions. The quality of the product seems good with a nice coating on the pin itself, sealed bearings, and (of course) the nylon rollers. Installation was easy - lots of videos on-line.Although this was more of a preventative maintenance change, i couldn't resist testing if there was any noticeable noise reduction. Not really, but some. The sound meter app on my phone showed old rollers at about 66 decibels and the new ones around 61 db. If I remember right, the scale isn't linear, so there is some improvement. The door does seem to have less "jerk" when getting started and it does glide nicely. I opened and closed it, by hand, a couple of times, but didn't notice much change in effort. One thing to check is the size of your existing rollers. The pins on these are 7" long (which is well marked) and I just presumed that was the standard size; it's not - my old rollers were only 4" long. Not a big deal, these still work.Final thing is price. Pretty much this product is priced competitively with other rollers out there. It seems that nylon rollers with sealed bearings are becoming a commodity. These reflect good points noted above and rate as a good buy.

I didn't pay attention to how long these shafts are when I ordered them. I should have. These rollers have 7 inch shafts. My existing rollers are 4 inch. Also, the wheels are a bit smaller than what the existing OEM rollers are. They do have nice ball bearing hubs with a seal or hubcap on each roller. Should make them roll quieter and last longer. But having a smaller diameter wheel means there is more horizontal play in the track. That means when a strong wind blows repeatedly against the garage door, the door has more room to bounce in and out. That is a more annoying noise then the sound of the rollers rolling in the door for the short pierid that the door is opening or closing. So, because the shafts are so long and the wheel diameters are a bit small, I'm not sure I will be using these.

These seem like very good quality garage door rollers and I was expecting a big sound difference when changing out my 55 year old rollers. Although they are slightly quieter I am disappointed it was not more noticeable. They were easy to install, but I am not sure why the stems need to be 7” long-they are twice as long as the originals. I think if you want a quieter garage door changing the opener to a belt drive would be where the real gains would be attained.

I bought these to replace my 25 years old rollers. Good build quality. Installation was easy. Garage door has definitely quiet down quite a bit with the new rollers. Recommend.

Diameter of wheel is advertised as 2" but measured a hair under 1.8", tiny bit smaller than Clopay OEM. I was careful to clean out any old lube and grease where the shaft goes into the mount but honestly, they did not cut down on the squeaking that much. They seem well built but the jury is out for now. I'll revisit this review if they improve.

Pictures do not begin to do these garage rollers justice! They are amazing! The rods are strong and the rollers are formed from the perfect balance of firm and quiet wheels! The sealed bearings are basically impossible to hear. Excited for how long these will operate… my guess is the house falls down before these rollers ever make a noise. Great find!
