What they call a template is actually a drawing. It is not printed to actual size so do not use it as a drill template.

I mounted this with the key in both directions and with as little tension on the mounting bolts as possible but it will not lock. Otherwise it works fine.

Lock works just fine. This is way overpriced - I happened to walk by the same product at home depot at they where selling it for $8.50. I don't think these guys need to charge $40+ for it even with free shipping. This lock should not cost more than $20 on Amazon.
