The toothbrushes were packaged very nicely .I used one and Bristol got stuck in my mouth and fell out ,So I was picking straw like things out of my mouth randomly .I went back to my normal toothbrushes .However the bristles are not too hard, Most likely east to travel with .The quality ( the bristles left behind ) were my only issueOr I would like them very much °And good for the environment

1 star for exposureGuys, the bristles fall out, I tried all 6 brushes. Every time bristles in my mouth. Stuck on the back of my tongue making me gag trying to scrap them off my tongue to get them out. Washed out my mouth for 10 minutes making sure I get them all out.Tried soaking the brush in warm water as directed first. Nothing mattered. This might be the best company in the world, maybe I just got unlucky and got a bad batch. Just the anxiety of accidentally swallowing a bristle is not worth it to me. Like, literally every time bristles came out, even if I gently used the brush just on the exterior of my teeth. Thanks for trying to make an all natural brush.

I like these toothbrushes, they are "cool" because they haven't fell apart and they have softened up a bit. I think I've been using them about a month now. Only a few bristles fell out. Not anything to really mention but for what it's worth it no biggie. By not using plastic. It's a win win. Im excited about it, and I would like to gift this to some folks, but who knows if they understand about microplastics. I understand, and there's my review. Good stuff.

It took a little getting used to switching from a traditional toothbrush to this. The bristles made my tongue feel funny the first few weeks but after more use it stopped. I think it just took a minute to get used to the different feeling from the hair vs plastic. Love that I’m not leaching micro plastics into my system like a traditional toothbrush and will be able to compost this when I’m done with it.

Arrived more than a week earlier than scheduled, so full marks to the seller. Everything was in order. The product itself, fully satisfied. Wood and bristles, simple as. Tried it immediately. Head a little smaller than I'm usually used to but you adapt. Bristles are not rough at all and did their job. Easy to clean and use, and no (known) harmful ingredients. Will get another once they're near used up (6 toothbrushes and you can use each for up to 5-8 weeks, so one pack lasts a long while).

Congratulations! If you come across this review - it must mean that you are making a conscious effort towards a healthier life and I'm so happy for you! There are some pros and cons with this toothbrush so I'll give you a little bit of the things I have noticed, but overall - I'm very happy with my purchase. On the initial use, you will have some hairs coming off. Which I think is expected since it's real hair and not synthetic. BUT after the first use I have not noticed any more falling off.Second thing, the brush part of it is a little tiny. Not extraordinary tiny but could use a one/two rows or columns or one row and one column of extra bristles to make it the PERFECT brush. Other than that it brushes impeccably great.I'm not sure what your toothbrush preferences are and how you like certain things, but for me what I've noticed is that I've fallen in love with this toothbrush. Not only can I brush my teeth with it, use it to scrape my tongue, but I also noticed how much more of a peaceful mind I have now that I'm using real natural things instead of the synthetic plastics that leech into our blood streams. Making the decision to buy this brush has been a great experience for me and I hope it will be for you too.Lets make Natural Brushes the normal standard for toothbrushes and toss out those petroleum-made, plastic-made, toothbrushes that are unhealthy for you.

Really like the feel in the mouth and in the hand. I warm the bristles up, and they caress the teeth in a very different feel than nylon brushes do, even good quality ones (I have been using Oral-B toothbrushes for decades). I like the fact that the handle is also a natural wood (bamboo?) feels very comfortable. I learned, using an electric toothbrush that I had been attacking my chompers with as much gusto as if I was tackling scrubbing bathroom tiles or a grubby stove... A much lighter touch with the brush, allowing the toothpaste to do the heavy lifting and these brushes will last a long time, easily as long, if not longer than nylon. And they come in their own container. What's not to like? I haven't found it losing bristles as some seem to feel it does... can't help but think that a lighter touch reduces, or even eliminates, that possibility. Highly recommended

June 2020:Pro: The handle is very comfortable The bristles are not soft, more hard/medium. Bristles get softer with time. Teeth feel well brushed.Con: The bristles shed and spread out early. It seems that the bristles won't last long. This is my first time using a Boar Bristles, so I'm not sure if this is normal.April: 2021:I have used all of the brushes. The pack lasted me 10 months. I changed the brush about every 2 months, instead of the plastic 3 month because the bristles do wear down more than the plastic alternative. This should be expected: it is made of hair, not plastic. Each new brush does shed during the first use, but considering that the product is biodegradable and prevents yet another plastic brush entering the landfill, it's worth a couple hairs in my mouth. Honestly, some brushes shed one hair and others shed four. It's a minor nuisance. I purchased another pack and plan to use them moving forward because they are good quality. As far as I know, this is the only toothbrush that is completely compostable.Note: I went to the dentist last month and was praised for my oral health. Prior to the boar brushed, I used a cheap electric toothbrush. I've always taken care of my teeth, but this was one of the few times I was complemented by a dental professional. These brushes paired with eco friendly floss have helped me maintain my oral health just as well (if not better) than plastic products.

These are great! They took a little getting used to - not your standard toothbrush experience.Pros:- Clean teeth really well- Toothpaste lathers like crazy, so less toothpaste can be used- Bristles feel really nice after being softened with a little water... especially nice on the gums- Totally plastic free, meaning no synthetic bristles!Cons:- Learning curve in terms of keeping clean (I always rinse thoroughly and dry off with a washcloth)- Shipped in plastic bubble mailer- Bristles occasionally come loose (this improves significantly after the third use)- Has a smell... a very wooden smell! Takes a bit getting used to.Overall: I love these. The pros outweigh the cons and now that I’ve used them for some time now, I’ll be sticking with them! No more tiny nylon bristles and my teeth and gums feel great!!

I've been using this product for nearly 3 weeks now and I would 100% recommend this product. I do love it, it isn't perfect but I'm willing to put up with less than perfect to reduce plastic waste. These bristles are natural so everything is compostable unlike other "natural" bamboo brushes where the bristles are in fact nylon.BRISTLES COMING LOOSE? Like all wood, bamboo absorbs water. I found soaking the head of the brush in boiled water before first use for 10 mins helped to secure the bristles as they appear to be slotted in like little pegs on a peg board. A few bristles do come out and while it seems weird at first, you've been brushing your teeth with plastic your whole life ... nothing weird about that, right? Also, DON'T pluck the bristles out if they look loose, just let them come out on their own. If you're managing to swallow them like other reviewers you've got bigger problems in your life...I expected the bristles to be quite coarse, they are actually quite soft but sturdy enough to give my teeth a good clean! As for taste, I haven't noticed any taste. Soaking the brush may have got rid of any "smell" or "taste" that may be there.Design wise, they are minimal and as for ergonomics ... there's no discomfort and this brush left my mouth feeling clean. If you open your mouth a little wider you'll get to those back molars no problem.I don't want people to be put off by this product because it's not what we're used to. We all need to make active changes in our life by reducing plastic consumption and waste. It's good value too and there's no plastic on the packaging either.
