I wanted to have a transition to the steps that was easy for me to install but was durable and the color was black. I love black. It had to be look great but be functional and had to have adhesion that would not come up. This strip had all that i wanted! I had to cut for size and I had enough to do the entry into the house too. It was so much better than those rubber strips. I like to be different and this was more Contemporary. That I liked.

These transition strips are pretty easy to work with. They are best cut by hand or with a bandsaw (preferred). Although they are designed for even floor transition, I managed to make them work with a slight variation in the elevation of the two floors. They are attractive compared to other choices I found and match a variety of colors and styles.

Very narrow and the metal is thin, but they work and just fit the gaps in my laminate floors. Would have preferred them to be a 1/4 to 1/2 wider.Cuts easily with a hacksaw. A good price.

unable to find suitable transition piece between hardwood and tile for my bathroom, this worked perfect and looks great and price is reasonable

This things work great. Just need to make sure that they are well glued in the transition. If not, the metal transition may pop up and give you a nasty cut. This is better to use as one piece but, if the area is large you’ll need to add additional pieces. Nevertheless, it worked great.
