This is a perfect torch for the DIY person. It has everything you need except the tanks. I don't know how other states handle tanks, but they don't refill tanks in my state. They swap them out with a different tank. So, I plan on spending another $150-200 to get tanks for this.I love that its a compact size and has everything i need in a small package.

SWIPROY G150 J-P Light Duty Oxygen and Acetylene Cutting TorchI picked this up because I had been wanting an O/A torch for a while for heating up stuck fasteners and for bending metal. This is advertised as a light duty kit, which is all I really need. I have a plasma cutter for cutting and welders for welding, so I primarily just need the heat this thing makes. All the included parts appear to be of good quality, and aside from not having any tanks it looks to be a pretty complete kit (if you were going to use it to braze/weld anyway). One thing that is not included is a cutting setup, so you will have to get that and tanks separately depending on your needs, not a huge deal, just something to be aware of. As another review suggested, the manual references Harbor Freight, and given how similar this kit is to the HF Portable Torch Kit, I assume the accessories for that kit will fit this one. I plan on picking up a Victor-style heating torch tip to make sure it fits, and plan on updating when I get i for future buyers.

In retrospect, I wish I had chosen a kit that included the cutting torch head instead of the carrying case. The regulators and torch handles work as they should but it is obviously not a victor quality set. The tips seal with tiny and thin O-rings so if you switch tips often you will want to source some replaments, i found nothing that would work in my standard O-ring kits because they were all too fat. I feel like is not the best value because only having 2 welding/brazing tips limits the versatility of the kit. The carrier case has a groove embossed across the back, where you can tell it was designed for an axle and wheels but those are not included. I would pick a set that does not have the carrier case, but has a wider selection of accessories if I had it to do all over again. If your serious about welding you can fabricate your own as one of your first projects.Also, get your bottles locally. Many (like all) welding gas suppliers will not fill or refill a bottle that is not purchased from them or american made, for "liability reasons".I Hope My Review Was Helpful To You.

This is a great oxygen settling kit. It’s a great value. I was able to hook everything right up to my tanks and they worked exactly as they are supposed to, no issues.

This kit is a apparent "community effort".The regulators and plastic tote are branded "RX Weld" this entity presents overall very good quality welding equipment and accessories. The regulators are top quality and precisely manufactured and finished. I have a larger setup where I upgraded to RX weld regulators, and they perform just fine.The included manual references "contacting Harbor Freight" the area that would normally show the HF item number is blank; the editors must have missed the reference inside. I suspect the company offering the kit is also a supplier for HF, specifically, the torch itself, and perhaps the twin hose and miscellaneous accessories.The torch is good, not top tier, as the brass is just slightly rougher than you would find on a Victor set-up or similar, but not at all a cheap build. Both of the valves were stiff out of the box, but after a minute or two of working the valves they freed up to a normal operational feel. As mentioned there is no cutting attachment as they are not normally used in HVAC, the advertised use of this outfit. I do not know if a Victor or similar part would fit, and perhaps HF would be a source for that attachment if one desired or needed it.I do not have my small bottles yet but the construction of the tote appears to provide adequate protection for the regulators, a nice 3 ear stowage for the hose, and a cubby to hold extra tips, striker, tip cleaner and bottle wrench, (all included).I have not priced similar outfits on line or elsewhere, but suspect that this outfit comes in at a very reasonable price.As stated great tor HVAC or refrigeration, or anywhere you need a compact and highly portable Oxy-Acet rig.
