Used this bit on a 2 separate horses with different needs, and loved it on both! This bit is an awesome step up from an O-ring and provides leverage without too much pressure.

I ended up returning because it wasn't right kind of bit for my horse. He didn't like the conflicting signals of the gag bit.I will say this bit is made well and if your horse is used to gags or would prefer them, then this wouldn't be the wrong choice for you.
