I needed these for the missing screws on my original New Nintendo 3ds XL. I've discovered that the screw thread pattern on these screws are closer together than the OEM screws, which has a slightly elongated thread pattern, especially comparing the original housing screws to these replacement screws. They may fit when you turn it in, but the thread pattern in the plastic screw holes not only create resistance, the screws, obviously, will not line up as a match because you may have no choice but to cross thread the screw holes. If you want to cross thread the holes, do it at your own risk! I recommend on easing in the screws slowly and use the replacement ones with the closest, matching length of the original fasteners; they hold up decent.
