I wanted to wait until I'd done a few projects before reviewing this tool. I don't use nail heads very often so it took a couple years. I love this thing! Once I used it, I used it again right away. It made me want to recover the couch I've been putting off just so I could play with it again! Haha! You have to buy the loading tray, it's a must! My kids love lining up the tacks on the tray for me. As someone who avoided nail heads due to bending, scuffing, and denting them with a hammer, this tool is great! I love the look of nail heads too! There is no safety feature on this nailer, a regular air nailer has to be seated on the surface you want to nail and the front has a safety piece that must be pressed down. This one doesn't have that. I didn't try it but I think you could pull the trigger and send a nail flying like a bullet! Watch out! I didn't let my kids try to "shoot" it for that reason. I also had to replace the air hose coupler to fit my compressor hose. I didn't realize until it was time to use it so I took one off another nailer and used that. I can't remember now if I got another one...I'd better go check...

This pneumatic gun seem to work well but the instructions were all in Chinese. I had to scan the instruction booklet into my computer to have them translated. The instruction state not to run more than 70 psi in the gun or it could cause damage. Seventy psi doe not give the amount of pressure need to drive the tacks all the way in. We were using a 7/8" shank and a 3/8" head tacks which the instructions actually recommends. Our project was an 80 year old wing back chair and the chair was built with hardwood. This tack gun also comes with a (i'm guessing) a European's type connector, I have never seen one like it before. I had to buy a new connector for the gun so my 3/8 inch hose connector would work. Maybe if you had a newer chair that was not made from hardwood this gun would get the job done and I would recommend this gun for softer wood use. I give this gun a 4 star rating because of the connector and the fact the instructions were printed in Chinese.

Not everyone is well versed in these tools! It sucks that it doesn't say that you need an air compressor, nor does it say or suggest any that are compatible with it!!!

Was a little unsure of this due to the price and lack of reviews but I asure you it is worth the buy! Does exactly what it's supposed to do and has solid construction. You just have to play with your pressure settinging in your airpressure tank depending on the type of wood your working with.It uses 7/16 nail heads only

I’m an amateur self taught upholsterer and I bought this because the one time I hand hammered decorative tacks the experience was so terrible I’d have preferred to be jamming them into my fingers. This tool has been life and frustration saving. I’ve actually been able to add tacks to my projects that look professional. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for the same product and this works great. I had to get a different sized attachment to work with my air compressor hose and Mine does hiss a little. it didn’t come with the plastic loader thing but I found a free 3D render online and had it printed for 10 bucks instead of the 40 Amazon wants for them.

I used it with old nails which have not straight pins but still worked like a charm. I'm going to buy again for my friend.
