It does not take much fiberglass to add strength to plaster for bridging moderate gaps and shallow gouges where tape is likely to stand proud of the wall, and I found that I could mix strands into the mud right there on the hawk. The mix did not fill narrow gaps well, such as a cut through the drywall, although that batch of mud may have been too loose. These fibers also are helping reinforce a shallow slab leading into an often-muddy dog run. As this is only a temporary measure to curtail the mess tracked indoors, the project is not worth the time and expense to prepare and pour a proper slab. With luck, these fibers will help the concrete ride out the winters for as long as the dog run is needed. While dry-mixing the fibers in with the packaged concrete before adding water helped distribute the fibers best, the largest difficulty was separating the fibers which tended to clump while sprinkling them over the concrete. At some points the fibers required extra effort with the float, but they are not visible when cured.Full disclosure: I ordered this Frienda 6.6 Lb Fiberglass through the Amazon Vine program. As a user of the product, I have done my best to provide an honest review.

This fiberglass comes in a plain clear bag. It's a pretty straightforward product, just a bundle of fiberglass without any fancy packaging. It works well to reduce the chances of developing cracks in the cement.Overall a good value.
