Very easy to use and clean. I prefer loose tea. The biggest pain with a lot of tea balls is getting all the used leaves out. This is very easy to use and clean. The best container for lose tea I have ever used. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Product box came smashed up. The box also says made in China. The Frieling website says their company is in Fort Mill, South Carolina USA. I emailed company to see why their website says one thing and their product another. Very misleading. Will be returning.

I had no issues with bottom coming off during use as reported by others. It’s a great idea being able to unscrew the bottom to remove tea leaves with one tap and a quick rinse. One has to look closely for the thread, once the direction of screwing and unscrewing it is established, Bob’s your uncle. No force needed. Will be buying another one soon esp if it goes on sale!

Unlike others of this type, bottom pops off for easy cleaning & mesh is fine enough to take the contents of my tea bags as I use them up. Best of all, it is all steel - no plastic

Always in search of the perfect tea brewing apparatus, this seemed promising since ease of cleaning was a huge complaint about other products I've tried. This seems to largely solve that issue, but it has some very sharp metal edges, I ended up cutting my finger open the first time I used it. I'll probably continue using it, albeit with more care, but I feel like "can dice vegetables" isn't something that should be a feature of tea strainers.

It's just perfect: deep enough to allow for tea leaves of all sizes to expand, deep enough to fit into a large tea pot, the top width is just perfect to fit the opening of most standard teapots, it also fits into a mug, the holes are perfect to provide a full steeping potential, the stainless steel is pure and leaves no taste, the removable bottom is perfect to clean, and I even love the little lid/drip dish. Absolutely love making my daily pot of tea with it.Finally, a decades old quest for the perfect tea strainer has ended: this is it.Superb Quality, Made in Germany.Love it.

great little tea brewer- love that the bottom comes out to make rinsing out old tea grounds easier. lid is useless but the tapered rim seems to fit both my cups and teapot- which makes it easy to brew various amounts. Someone mentioned that the edge is sharp but I haven't had a problem- although I try not to run my finger along the edge as it is just sheet metal and may have a burr.

Works great for mason jars, both regular and wide mouth. Has it's own lid, so I steep for a few minutes and remove, then use the mason jar lid for storage. Easy to clean - love that the bottom can be removed. Nice fine mesh. Bought this for tea, but could probably also be used for course ground coffee. Fruits and herbs should work well, too, if you want to steep vinegar or flavored water.It does not easily fit 3.75, so it didn't fit the teapot I have at 3.25. It was very loose and fell in. Note that this is 3 inches tall and 3 3/16 inches wide, so it's awkward to use on anything wider than 3 inches. I was expecting it to be larger than 3.75 wide on ALL sides when it says 'fits'. They are including the handle, which brings it to 4 inches, not the full portion of the rim. Mine has 3 little tabs and a small handle. You can use it on larger openings but have to be careful to balance it just right or it will fall in. Don't bump it. It fits 3 inches all around, but anything larger, it only fits on 2 sides.They have a larger one available. Very happy with it otherwise since I bought this for mason jars.

Easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, seems well made and is the perfect size for the thermos I wanted to use it with. My only complaint is that the top, which I would like to use to rest the infuser on so I can reuse the leaves, can be difficult to remove without just dumping it over (and thus dumping the tea).
