We like to buy the 18 and 24 egg flats and this allows us to store 12 of them at a time conveniently and safely in our kitchen fridge (the rest live in our garage fridge). Its clear plastic construction allows us to tell at a glance how many eggs we have at any given time. The tight fitting lid helps to keep the eggs fresher longer as well as keeping fridge smells out. The two six-egg racks are great; this allows us to devote one rack to raw eggs and the other to hard boiled or sous vide cooked eggs. The silicone padding for the eggs in each rack is a nice touch and are easy to clean. The lid has a built in time scale; this is nice but hard to read in my opinion. The egg holder is very sturdy and I find myself storing things on top of it in the fridge, something I never did with the store bought cartons. It does take up more room than a usual egg carton, but its upside far outweighs this. This is a good organizer for the fridge and in my opinion an almost ideal way to store eggs.

We have a few chickens and wanted a reusable storage container to hold their eggs in, and ideally not worry about anything placed on top crushing them. This works great. Our eggs fit in, and the lid goes on fine, though if the eggs were a bit taller they might have an issue. I appreciate that the holder parts can be removed to make cleaning easier.
