Easy to replace. No tool needed. Just the big palstic air filter chamber took a while to open big enough.

Some other reviews stated that it didn't fit exactly, but this one did perfectly in my 2011 Santa Fe.Plenty of videos out there on how to put it in. I recommend disconnecting the air hose on the left side of the air cleaner lid (as you face the engine), and the electrical plug, allowing you to totally removed the air cleaner lid. Makes putting in the new filter much easier, and you can vacuum out any dirt, bugs, in the bottom of the aircleaner box.

I recently replaced my engine air filter with the FRAM Extra Guard CA10881, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's been three months, and I can confidently say that my Kia is running smoothly with no signs of impeded airflow.Installation was a breeze, and I appreciate the quality and effectiveness of this filter. It provides solid protection and helps maintain optimal engine performance. If you're looking for a reliable air filter that gets the job done, this is it! Definitely recommend it for anyone with a Hyundai or Kia.

Bought this for my 2012 Kia Sorento. Good quality. Was easy to replace and saved me a bundle compared to what the dealer charges to replace. Also replaced my cabin filter at the same time. Very easy to do and will do my own going forward. Saved me over $100 compared to the dealer (for 10 minutes of my time to do the work myself) and I'm very sure these are better quality than what they use! Just search for a video online to see how to replace yours and have at it too.

As the name says, this is a filter to make sure the air in your engine is clean. Your car may also have a cabin air filter, to keep the air inside the car clean. The air filter generally can go a lot longer before changing than an oil filter. I usually change the air filter about every third time I change the oil filter, so roughly every 10-12,000 miles. If you're concerned, it's easy-peasy to check, at least on all the cars I've owned. There's a plastic box, usually square, with metal clips on 2 sides. You pop open the clips, lift up the top and remove the air filter. That's it. It will not be hot, don't worry. Look at it. If it still looks clean, pop it back in and snap/fasten the clips back down. I use a label maker to put a note on the side of the filter when it was changed. That way, when a dealer or other person tries to scam me with a "you're overdue for an air filter, we can do it for just $59.95" (or whatever), I can show them they're full of it. Anybody that charges you more than at most, five bucks to change an air filter is taking advantage of you. If you don't like getting your hands a tiny bit dusty, maybe it's worth that fiver to you.

This is simply packaged (filter in box). Takes three seconds to get out of box. The filter is ridgid enough to retain its form while getting into place, but flexible to be manipulated to squeeze it into the engine compartment. I recommend that on top of undoing all the metal clasps that are clamping the top down (I had 4) that you also loosen the tube ties or remove the vent hood thingy. Allows the top to more easily move out of the way to get the old one out.I over-change my filter, I do it every 3-6 months (only drive like 6k miles in that time) and I've never had an issue finding this filter ripped or damaged after that amount of use.Hyundai dealer would charge about $20 for a filter and $45 for labor. Only thing I needed was the filter, a screwdriver (to further loosen after clasps) and some soap to wash my hands and arms afterwards. Takes me about 5-10 minutes now after I've done it a few times, and that's BOTH filters (this engine one and the cabin air filter).Would recommend.

It's a good value considering what it does and how good is it at doing what it does. No name or brands that are unheard of sometime ask for more of your hard earned money but not Fram, definitely not on Amazon. This same product is slightly higher in price at stores, so its best to buy here. Its made in China however the quality is very good nonetheless. This is my second filter, they do a decent job.

Definitely would buy again, looks and feels high quality. Can purchase at Canadian Tire as well but it was much cheaper on here. Usually buy OEM but due to budget, I had to shop around to save money. Fits perfectly in my Kia Optima 2013, installed in 5 mins. Do it yourself and save money. Lots of how to videos on YouTube or just on the web. Been about a month and I had no issues as of yet.
