This pen is amazing. Feels great when writing. Glides right on the paper have no issues with it whatsoever. Highly recommend.

Zalantan pens are quite good. This one came with a fine nib. Cartridge popped in easily. However, ink is not flowing smoothly like it should. I suspect the fine-nature of the nib or maybe partially dry ink. I still like the pen and am confident I can fix it. I ordered Matte Green. I got Blue, unfortunately.

The pen is beautiful but leaks horribly. Sadly, unusable had to return

I am in love with this pen! It writes so smooth and is a heavier weight so it allows smoother flow when going through the motions. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to assemble but a quick YouTube video fixed that problem. The ink is beautiful and such a great fountain pen for the money paid.Just be sure to store faces up when not in use to prevent leakage as you would all other fountain pens. 😊

The picture on the instructions doesn’t label parts, but just so you know, the set comes with two extemporaneous parts to make conversions to the instrument. One such extra, needless part comes attached to the tip/nib, which makes assembly even more confusing. I tried to do the intuitive thing of just removing the extra part and attaching the ink cartridge to the tip/nib (basic stuff- but not at all depicted properly in the illustration or instructions), but it didn’t work. Why? The first ink cartridge I tried appears to have been poorly manufactured/defective, and the opening was way too narrow so that I would have broken something trying to force the two parts together. Having not realized that it was a single defective cartridge, just seeing pieces that didn’t fit together, I reached out for help in the questions and an unhelpful person descended upon the question to mock and insult me rather than offer any helpful suggestions that would have lead to me realizing that I should try a different cartridge to see that I had a defective cartridge. I will probably make a video to demonstrate how to put it together properly so other people are also able to avoid this confusion and the possibility that some of their ink cartridges may also be poorly manufactured and defective. Now that we put a different cartridge in, it writes beautifully. I bought it for my son’s 10th birthday so he could practice his penmanship. He has been begging me for one. He absolutely loves it now that we got it working. It’s an incredible value for the money. The seller needs to check the manufacturing of their cartridges.

I used a fountain pen way back when I was in high school (They were in vogue then), but hadn't used one since until now. I absolutely love this pen. It can take ink cartridges (easiest) or be filled from a bottle of ink (also not hard). My only issue, which I figured out on my own, was the lack of an instructional video to show which parts to remove to use the cartridges. The pen is a beautiful color, very elegant, and writes smoothly. Well worth the price. I've ordered a second one to give as a Christmas gift.
