Reed sounds good. If you use a Jody Jazz HR* with the JJ Power Ring, it does not go on the mouthpiece very far. See photo.

リードの高騰で練習にケーンリードを使うのが勿体なくて、買ってみました。使用目的は練習のみ。ケーンはバンドレンZZの3を使用してますが、MSだと少し柔らかい。Mで丁度いいくらいですね。リード管理を気にしなくて良いのが最大のメリットです。練習で使用するには問題ありませんが、他の人工リード（レジェール等）にくらべて低音のサブトーンが出しづらいです（Jazz奏者です）。そのかわりに低音のリアルトーンがソフトに出せるので、そのあたりはお好みでという感じ。フラジオは問題なく当たります。

今まで15年以上いろいろLegereの種類を試してきました。なかなか合うリードに巡り会えず、樹脂リードはこんなもんと思ってきましたが、これは素晴らしいです。1 音色がケーンに近い。少しだけざらついた感じがいい。本物っぽい。2 当たり前だが、いつもコンディションは同じ。これが樹脂リードを選ぶ最大の理由。吹く前にリード選びに悩まない。3 コスパがいい。これも樹脂リードの利点。中でもFORESTONEは財布に優しい。普通の5枚入りリードより安いです。4 反応が早い。5 吹き心地も、ケーンに近い。Mは少し柔らかすぎましたが、それでも息を入れたスピード、量に対してきちんと応えてくれました。セッティングはSELMER tenor SERIES2に、ottorink メタルの7⭐︎です。うーん。MH買うかどうか迷いますが、試しに、とできる価格帯ではあります。ご参考までに。

以前は同じ樹脂製のレジュウムの2.1/4を使用していましたが、透き通っているので、マウスピースに合わせるのに苦労しましたが、こちらはケーンのリードとそっくりなので、合わせやすいとおもいます。価格はこちらの方が安い様です。音にザラツキが入りますが、好みの問題なので何ともいえませんが、私には合っていると思っています。

Ottimo feeling ed estetico dell'ancia. Ma per me, a cui piace un suono morbido e rotondo, questa ancia è troppo morbida e non rispetta molto la numerazione assegnatale. Secondo me è un 1,5 ma forse anche meno. Facilissima da suonare nel basso registro, accusa grossi limiti nel registro altissimo per via appunto della morbidezza. Ne ho ordinato subito una di due gradini più dura e spero questa vada meglio.

This is now my go-to read. It plays better than my wooden reeds and it’s hard to believe it’s synthetic. Absolutely love that I can just put on, pick up and play. I will have a hard time going back to a traditional reed.

CONS: I don't like the price.PROS: BUT, compared to other reeds a musician may find, I am quite amazed and extremely pleased with Forestone Hinoki. The other Forestone reeds (white bamboo, black bamboo) I have not tried. This is only about Forestone's HINOKI version. I've been playing tenor for 15 years and have used almost every brand reed you can think of including the synthetics. I had settled for years on Vandoren Java (a very fine company and excellent reeds). Then I found Forestone's HINOKI reed.It is the *only* reed I've ever played that:1) fulfills the promise of quick speaking, great control, luscious sound in all registers, consistency, and long lasting2) comes close to my lust for the perfect reedIt improves with a bit of warming up. Literally. My body warmth seems to wake up the Hinoki reed––responsive right out of the box––but in about a couple of minutes between my lips it's just more responsive from then on.OVERALL: the best synthetic I've ever played, and given its quickness to speak, tone, long-lasting nature, the best read overall that I've come across.
