These do not work if you are going to holster with this in. Most Kydex and leather molded holsters have trigger guard retention. These work great for pocket carry, much safer if you carry chambered.I did not rate 5 stars because I feel these are way overpriced and I wish they came in a red or orange. I lost one due to the black color in rocky ground so I spray painted the replacement orange.

These work very well for all generation 1-4 Glock pistol models. I don’t know about generation 5 Glock pistols.I really like Glock pistols but I want a thumb safety on any automatic pistol I own. This is the next best option.

Does what in needs to do. Easily adjustable to lock behind trigger w/provided Allen wrench.I colored in the insignia to make it stand out (see image). Filled in with desired color crayon & wiped off the excess with a paper towel. It'd've been nice if the manufacturer made this available in different colors.

Perfect adjustable little trigger safety for Glock handguns. Since Glocks don't have a thumb safety, I like these little trigger safety's. They punch out instantly when you need to draw and fire. Make sure you take the time to recover it when practicing, as they are easily lost.

I like this for when I have my Glock on my desk I could have it out without having it in a holster. Please note that if you want to use this WITH a holster, you might have some issues with fitting. But please understand that if you are going to use a holster, there is no need for this SAF T block because a holster covers the trigger of your gun, so there's no need for this or any other safety. If you're feeling iffy about an exposed trigger when you do draw the gun, it's probably better if you become more confident that you can follow the 4 rules of gun safety before you continue to carry a gun. Just like falling off a cliff, it's the last step that kills you, and this is the same way: might seem scary at first, but once you realize you have to actually place your finger on the trigger and deliberately pull it to make it fire, you won't be so scared.

To be honest I was a little ‘meh’ about it at first. That is until I realized it actually adjusts.I don’t know if mine came with an Allen key/instructions or not. The original packaging has since been discarded. It’s a wedge and I didn’t fee that instructions were even needed. It has a plastic screw inserted on the inside with an Allen key hex head. You make SMALL adjustments until the block is at your desired resistance. This is a real game changer for pistols with no external safety. There is also a hole on the side which is nice for protecting against little curious fingers. Although I advise against chambering a pistol being stored long term. It’s simply not needed if it’s locked away. Still a good way to render it unusual temporarily. My main goal for this is to prevent accidental discharge while carrying or holstering. I’m not 100% comfortable relying on the block to prevent those curious fingers from operating it so I still don’t chamber while it’s sitting bedside. Yes I know there’s a “what’s the point then” crowd but it’s ultimately I who has to live with the actions of my children’s potential mishaps. It’s also I who’s responsible for preventing said mishaps.I considered a 3 digit suitcase lock for the block with only 1 number off but figured it’d just be quicker to chamber than to fuss with that.Overall I’m extremely happy with the item. Considering buying one for a few friends.

I didn't grow up with Glocks, guns with double action only, or guns without external safeties, so this was one of the first things I bought to go along with my new Glock to keep me from doing something stupid (though I do know how to handle a gun properly and safely, and anyone else owning/operating any type of gun, or other projectile like device, should too. But accidents do happen and people forget things all too easily). With a little tightening, this works wonderfully. It slides and locks into place securely, and I've tightened it enough so that it doesn't simply just fall out of place when moving the gun and won't accidentally be pushed out of place without a conscious thought to do so (note, if it doesn't take a conscious thought to do so, then it needs to be tightened even more). There is a sweet spot between it not coming out when you don't want it to and it not coming out when you do want it to, so you'll have to play around to find that and determine how much force you want to apply to be able to remove it before being ready to shoot. When secured in place, the trigger safety does move but the trigger itself will not.I do highly recommend this for first time Glock buyers like myself, or anyone who wants an added safety.P.S.If you buy a Black Hawk Serpa holster for your Glock, this will fall out when you draw your gun. I haven't tested it extensively because I don't like the idea of it falling out while drawing without me purposfully pushing it out, so be warned. My biggest fear because of that would be it jamming the gun into the holster and preventing you from drawing. I'd recommend a leather (or other soft material) holster if that's what you want to use this for.

Cleaver little manual safety device for my Glock 21. One star off because it's overpriced by far. Tip: I used a small nail that I cut in two to slide into the hole that is for a lock (it would have to be a mighty small lock to fit into that tiny hole). I turn the Glock upside down and the nail falls out; and then I pop the trigger block out as pictured on the Web page. Very simple and effective device.
