5 stars for the budget price category.I am only deducting one star because of the nature of the lid. It is as expected for the category, but the lid is simply a piece of the fabric cut to circle with a bit of side ring. That might seem fine, but when it rains it will thus cave it and fall into the tub, and thus will all the debris also fall into the tub at that point. The lid should have some sort of structure across the top so that it can handle some rain without buckling. But alas, I probably need to jump up in price category for that option. The tuib itself serves its purpose as an entry plunge tub choice. We have tried it with up to 200 pound persons without issue. It is a tiny bit higher on the sides that others in the category, and that might be a plus to some, but we have found that we are not filling it enough to have needed those extra couple of inches. If you are very tall you might like the higher sides. We have placed a step next to ours for easiier access. We really love having the cold plunge, and as we do not expect this one to last outdoors beyond a few months, we will surely upgrade soon. But next to our hot tub, this is fantastic, the perfect introduction to see if we would like it, and I recommend it for introduction to others wanting to see if they will indeed use it.I recommend ph strips (and ph up or down amenders) and chlorine if you are going to leave the water inside as we are. With cold water it is pretty easy to keep it clean. Add ice as needed.Recommended.

Reviewing Arcwilderness Foil Cold Plunge Tub – This ice bath is more involved than other ones, but because of that, I believe it is much better quality and will last much longer. It has a liner that goes inside it, rather than just the tub. It also has a nice storage bag and a cover to cover it up between uses. It has plastic side bars that act to keep the tub upright and a faucet connection for intake/export of water. It includes a nice storage bag also, that is easy to stuff the tub into. It has a whiteboard with market so you can mark that it’s ready for use (kind of silly) and an emergency whistle, that I’m unsure of. If you are drowning, you can’t blow the whistle. If another person see’s you are drowning, they should be helping you, not blowing the whistle. Either way, it comes with a safety whistle. It also comes with a foot pump, but we have a portable compressor that blows it up much quicker. Just remember that if you want to use this frequently and are debating whether or not to leave it filled, be sure to put in cleaning agents so the water doesn’t get nasties in it.The bottom line is: It is easy to set up, durable, is solid construction and has good insulation. It’s a great ice bath that should see many, many uses.

First off, know that this is an ice tub, not a cold plunge pool, so it has no refrigeration or cooling system and the water temps will need to be maintained with regular ice blocks or bags. For my use, I live in Michigan so for the next 5 months or so, it will work perfectly with no effort at all as the insulation will help keep it warm enough that it doesn't freeze solid, so in northen climates, it's really a nice option for at least half the year.Overall impressions: Lightweight. Easy to set up. Looks nice. I use this at a Crossfit gym and many different members have used it post workout to get their recovery started and it is large enough to accommodate everyone from a 4'10" woman to the largest 6'7", 300 lb men. The only drawback that I can say is that it feels a little suspect when crawling in and out for larger people and isn't as stiff and supportive as a traditional, metal or composite one piece tub. Also, in the summer months, we are going to need to invest in a cooling unit in order to make this a year round recovery tool, so there is a lot of hidden expense.I would recommend this for anyone that may be on the road a lot and has some extra space in the camper or R.V. etc... because it sets up and breaks down quickly and can be a nice option for recovery while travelling.

What a great choice for a personal ice bath tub. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it arrived after I ordered it, and how well it was packaged. I conducted research prior to choosing this portable ice bath tub and found this one to be an excellent option. The quality of materials and construction was ideal for my needs. Setup was easy and remains sturdy while entering, and exiting the tub. I highly recommend this ice bath tub as one for consideration.

Its durable construction, spacious design, and insulation properties make it a practical option. However, its weight and appearance may be drawbacks for some users.
