What You Should Know about Fog Lights
Fog lights are designed to be used at low speed in fog, heavy mist, snow and other poor-visibility situations. They’re different from daytime running lights. They are an extra pair of lights mounted low on the vehicle, with the thinking that fog doesn’t settle on the road surface but hovers 12 to 18 inches above it. They aim light into this layer of fog-free air. They also point to the right enough that the driver can see the solid, white “fog line” at the road edge as a guide.

2.Replacing the bulb may affect the airtightness of the lamp. As the bulb does not fit well with the lamp body, it will cause water vapor. It is strongly recommended to use our company's halogen bulbs (included with fog lamps). If you insist on replacing the bulb, it is best to install a waterproof gasket and tighten the screws.

Was super easy to install and everything worked and fit perfectly, it is definitely worth the price. Ended up going with the smoked lense since I don't think the yellow lights would go well with a red bmw.

Perfect fit for my F22 2016 228i. Purchased because this pair was much cheaper than buying an OEM light to replace a cracked fog light. Install was definitely annoying, had to remove the horn and loosen the radiator bolts to get the old fog light out on the passenger side, but that's on BMW, and YMMV depending on the car you have.
