A: To prevent some mud from splashing onto the body or people, and also to prevent mud from splashing onto tie rods and ball joints causing rust.

So a few things I’m not super happy with but they work and you can make it work good and look good. First off the main sides and rear fender are much narrower than oe. But they will fit. Also the rear fender does not taper down to cover the rear bar like factory. The nuts in the replacement seat will not accept factory bolts so you will have to find ones that fit. ( we just reused the factory seat)The front plate and fender fit really well. It’s not a bad kit but there are definitely some oofs with it. Overall I gave 3/5 because it’s a bit of a fight to get it all to work but at the end of the day it works so theres half the battle!

After alot of tweaks and mods I got it to fit vary poor shape to the back fender dose not fit bike right and front fender needs to be tweaked to fit the mounts on the fender are all wrong

Fuel tank faded quick even being stored inside. Rear fender didn't fit properly
