The print is the same in the photo. The lights work just fine. The stuff that holds the lights on the rim of the hat detached a little bit. Nothing noticeable and everything still works. My biggest issue is the sides of the hat is a lot more folded up than in the picture and it’s kinda big for my head so it’s a 50/50 for me.

This hat is was the highlight of the night. I received so many compliments. There are 3 settings for the lights. Highly Recommend this hat for any occasion. I wore it with cowgirl boots for my b’day. I will also wear it for NYE

I am doing a blue-hat comparison between two blue hats on Amazon.And I like both a lot, different reasons.About this har that lights up:This is a party hat - the LED switch is inside - in back of hat. You push small button. It has a piece of paper "tab" it ships with. Pull that out.It has four options: 1) steady on, 2) slower flashing, 3) faster flashing, 4) off.The material on this hat feels like thin velveteen over cardboard or thick fabric interface. The fit is for a larger head with no way to make smaller. When I push in on sides, it doesn't tighten much. I have a medium sized head and a lot of hair and it still feels big. Chin strap on it will help.The hat is also just a bigger hat in length and width than the other hat.It has what looks like stamped on circles with a sequin look.The lights are on the edge.This hat had extra glue blobs in three places.The CompetitionIt wins for more dressy. (I bought a stunningly beautiful black dressy cowboy belt on the recent Amazon Prime days.) The other hat, high end felt, (65% cotton 35% polyester) is also well made, sturdier. The hat band matches my belt.This hat does not have a tag about materials.BUT it also doesn't have a chin strap and it really needs one. It is smaller than the flashing light had - HERE- but still too big on me, but it can be made tighter in the back. It fits a little weird on me - back fits, front still loose, when tightened.My Conclusion for MeNice dressy felt hat with band wins for a daytime event, and is a warmer hat. It looks like a higher end hat.The hat HERE that lights up win as it just screams PARTY; it will be fun for night time events or for a theme hat. I wanted to check it out as a potential large quantity ongoing purchase hat for a business project.Suggest for either hat, box when not in use. Amazon sent boxed with blow up plastic air bags.This hat HERE does NOT have a formed hat block. The dressier felt hat with band, no chin strap, came with a heavy plastic hat block. Keep that for storage to help keep hat from being crushed.One reason, too, I am thinking to keep both hats is I can use the protector hat block for smaller hat and put flashing light hat on top of felt hat ( tissue in between in case LED battery might leak in future). The felt hat could act as a block to hat that lights up.Re chin straps - I went to Joanne's fabrics and found cording and a cord "locking slide." For under $5 US, and a littld effort, I am adding a chin strap on the felt hat. I need a chin strap since hat is big; a light wind, or getting bumped like in a dance floor and the chin strap would keep hat connected to me. ( hopefully)
