If you are like me, a newbie who doesn't fully understand what grit I should be using for what, you will find the assorted pack a huge money saver. You get a nice assortment that allows you to figure out what grit you need for most of your project without having to over-commit.I used this to test out what was the smoothest grit I could use in removing the majority of the metal from some project pieces I had. Once I figured that out, I purchased more of that specific grit in bulk. If this is your use case, I think this is great value and well worth it. Otherwise, as stated in other reviews.

Every be grinding away and the disc catches and rips to shreds and you're like "awe man there goes another 2 bucks !!" well, if one of these catch it hurts less (financially) . They do seem to las a a while and I'm grinding down plug welds etc. And its nice when they come to your door.

I have been in the welding / Meatal Fabrication trade for almost 30 years and most of it has been in stainless steel shops building stainless steel Restraunt equipment so i have used alot of flapping grinding disc over the years and am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to this type of product.These flappiing disc are a good deal for the money, you get 21# disc total if you order the assortment pack, you get 11 ) 40 grit disc , 5) 60 grit disc, 3) 80 grit disc, and 2) 120 grit disc for about $17.99 which is a pretty good deal if your just going to use them at home. These disc are not industrial strength disc and you can tell that just by looking at them if you have any experience at all using aflapping disc. There just not as thick as other ones I have used in the past and you can tell the minute you start grinding with one. I have used flapping disc that you can almost use them them like a hard disc to grind with they were that good.I pretty much knew what i was getting just because of the price and i'm happy with them to use at home but if you think your going to use them at your work or on a everyday thing your going to burn them up really fast and you won't be happy with them. when you get the disc there shrink wrapped real nice with one sticker on it telling you what is there for each grit of the disc.Now this is what I had a hard time beleiving cause in all my years of welding I have never seen any type of grinding disc that didn't say what the grit was on it or a brand name or something, these disc don't even say made in China on them there just black and say nothing so you kind of got to look at the sticker and then seperate the disc when you open them up,if you mix them all up you can't tell the difference between a 40 or a 60 grit disc. I guess if you buy a pack that are all the same grit then it wouldn't matter so much.All i'm going to say is these are not professional flapping disc as thay claim so don't expect them to be, I would recommend them if you need some disc to use at home and thats all i needed them for so there just fine for my needs, but for anything else but home use i would look at other options.I hope this review might have helped you some on what to expect from this product.Thank You For Reading

These might be the best low cost flap discs I've ever used. It's deciving because they are skinnier then any I've used before but the sand holds on good, they get gummed up but just take a torch to em for a few seconds and they come back to life5 stars on quality for value

These sand great I just used them to sand the rust off the bed of my LMTV. My only complaint is that the center isn’t thick enough to fully tighten down on my grinder. Which it may just be my grinder brand.
