Flag-seems well made a double stitched in all areas. Stars are sewn in verses stamped/dyed. As advertised. Cannot vouch for the material itself.Pole and attaching hardware. Pole seems to SS. Plastic flag attachments to pole seem adequate. Pole mount to boat is also plastic. but seems adequate. Not sure after several years in the sun. No mounting screws. The problem. The two spring loaded prongs that hold the flag pole into the plastic boat mount and very strong, not bad in itself. The boat mount is recessed so as to allow you to press the prongs in and remove the pole. The prongs in actually are VERY difficult to get in far enough with fingers only to allow the pole to be pulled out.

This is a high quality flag and pole for a boat. I would recommend it. It is equally as good as its higher priced competitor's boat flag.
