This is an easy to open quick-release shackle. A swift pull on the leather tag will pull the pin and allow the jaw to open. Closing it back up isn't as easy. Not difficult, but not a smooth, easy one-handed action.The stainless seems to be 316, and the strap appears to be leather (as advertised). It seems fit for purpose and decent value for money.

I bought a quick release off Etsy and always had problems with it releasing if it got bumped. It became extremely annoying! Ended up getting this one because of how inconvenient it became. I didn’t have high hopes since it’s cheaper than my other one but I am VERY pleased with it! It actually does its job and holds my SCBA mask like it’s suppose to. I should have just got this one originally instead of overpaying for the one off Etsy! Would recommend!

Seems like its rare to get the quality you expect from many vendors nowadays, but this one delivers. It is a heavy-duty clip just as you'd expect. The post is solid and the spring is firm. Catches and releases just the way it should. If you are looking for a QR shackle, this is a pretty good one. If you just want a cool keychain, it works for that as well.
