These are great sounding, long lasting reeds. You'll have to buy a harder reed than your used to using though. I used a "2" Vandoren cane reed on my baritone sax and had to go with a "4" when I changed to these Fibracell. But they sound great and last a long, long, time!

Game changer! My 14 year old has been playing alto and baritone sax since he was in the 4th grade. I have invested in high quality wood reeds since the start. They chip in the slightest and it leads to what we affectionately call the snarfblat symphony. If you are a parent of a sax player, you know what I mean. If I knew his bari sax could sound this good, I would have invested in this gizmo years ago. Completely worth the money. We went a size down from a 3 to a 2 as previous reviewers suggested. It’s perfect! He is in virtual school with the smart music app (aka evil app). Before this synthetic reed he was lucky to get a 92% after numerous tries. Now he is getting a 100% on everything!

It is a good reed look wise, but it made my sound absolutely horrible. It sounded like I just learned to play bari and I've been playing for five years.

First of all, the reed doesn't even fit a bari sax mouthpiece and ligature. The guarantee that it would sound like a cane reed is absolutely false and made my tone sound that of the worst saxophone player on the planet. I highly recommend Legere reeds as a cane substitute.

Has really good tone quality and is an amazing substitute for a real reed. This is definitely what you want if you are looking for a synthetic Baritone Saxophone reed.
