Foam interface pad for sanding delicate surfaces such as profiles and contours with the RO 125 or ETS 125 5-inch sander. Festool sanding pads are designed as carefully as every other component for optimum performance and a long life. All of our pads are designed with dust extraction as a primary consideration, so you'll work cleaner, produce a better finish and significantly extend the life of your abrasives and pads. Festool pads feature the StickFix hook and loop design for quick and efficient abrasive changes, and enable re-use of partially used abrasives. A highly-resilient, heat-resistant MPE foam is utilized in all our pads for consistent finishing results, uniform wearing, and extended pad life. Because sanding pads will eventually fatigue and require replacement, it is advisable to keep a fresh pad at hand to avoid a break in work. Includes 1 sanding pad. Made in Germany.

Finally got around to using this on a project. Got about 2/3 of the way through and started seeing little pieces of black sponge appearing on the surface. When I stopped, I noticed that the part of the pad that attaches to the sander was shredding off. Will search for cheaper alternatives. These are too costly to last so little.

I love my festool products, this add on however it a literal game changer. It makes getting the ETS125 in to bowls easier and for my use, that's huge. I usually end up having to hand sand the edges due to the exhaust/dust port getting in the way and this has provided that little bit extra needed to get the port above the top of the bowl. On curved surfaces, what's it's known for, it really shines. If you're looking for a little bit more depth and the ability to do light sanding on contours with your 125mm/5" Festool sander, this is the ticket and I can't recommend it enough! it installs like a sanding pad, you do have to be careful when removing the sanding pads from it, but aside from that minor caution, it's a 10 of 10. Value is only a 3 since it's a $30 piece of foam, but I guess that's the cost for Festool, which overall are almost always worth the price of entry. I've only used it with festool sanding disks.

This is THE BEST sander pad out there! I bought a different option before and it was a package of a few and they all got ruined while using them, like really fast! And I have been using this one so many times and it still looks like new and it's also softer so it takes the shape of the piece you are sanding a lot easier, better and more effective than any other! A must have!

This fits the five inch Festool sanders and works perfectly to sand contoured surfaces!Be careful removing the sanding disc from the pad, or the contour pad from the main pad! Pulling too hard or improperly will ruin your contour pad or your main pad!You should gently start around the edges and work the disc off the contour pad, as well as the contour pad off of the main pad when you no longer need it!If you don’t do it carefully you will tear foam or pad into pieces!Highly recommend!

The velcro ripped off the foam the first time I used it. This is close to worthless.

A première vue, il semblait qualitatif. Mais au bout de 4 heures de ponçage (coque bateau bois) avec du grain 60, sans appuyer et à vitesse minimum, justement pour ne pas forcer sur le scratch du disque, ce dernier se détache maintenant au bout de 5'. Alors certes, j'ai eu quelques moments où ma pression sur la coque a été plus forte mais j'ai rectifié dès que je m'en apercevais, et à ce prix, je m'attendais quand même à quelque chose de bien plus durable. Donc déçu

It works really well, gets smoother edges. Just be gentle when removing. Don't pull the foam or it will tear. Pull from the outside by grabbing the velcro not the foam. This thing STICKS to the velcro so pull apart little by little in a round direction. One downside is the holes don't line up with my corded makita orbit sander. Other than that gets the job done.

Reçu conforme à ma commande mais une étoile en moins pour le prix que je trouve un peu cher et je connaissais déjà le produit qui a une durée de vie limitée la qualité festool est surfaite mais il n'y a pas ou très peu de concurrence sur ce produit.
