In 1983, when doing a engine job, I saved a buck and got low priced gaskets. That engine spewed like the Fountain of Youth. Started using Fel-Pro products back then and have used nothing else since. Fit and quality are what these folks are about. That was 40 years ago, and when tightening specs are followed, never had to do the job twice. The best as far as I’m concerned.

I have a 1991 Dodge Dakota 5.2 and the water pump gasket didn't fit. I got one locally so no problem. Other than that it's a good set.

None of the gaskets fit any part. They were all too small. Would not order again.

While the gaskets are the typical high quality fromFel Pro the harmonic balancer sleeve was junk. It doesn't come with the installation tool(metal cup) like National or Timken send with their sleeves. After a call to Fel Pro the tech said they don't even make the tool anymore. It's your responsibility to figure it out. Which turns out to be pretty easy, just ordered a new sleeve from National. Part # 88218. The FelPro sleeve went in the scrap bucket. ( As a side note the FelPro sleeve also doesn't have the lip around the bottom so you can't even use a cup tool/piece of tube to press or drive the sleeve onto the harmonic balancer.)

A combination of this gasket set and Permatex Spray on Copper gasket work very well. I spray both sides of the gaskets uniformly and let them dry for a few hours. I also put some extra Permatex copper sealant on the water jacket bolts and around the water pump holes. Less mess and a great seal.
