The gasket doesn't fit the 3S-FE engine. It has additional holes that aren't part of the design, causing oil to leak through them. I'll have to buy a new gasket, and I'm not satisfied with this purchase.**Update:** Today, I removed the engine oil pan and discovered that the gasket was torn in one spot, which happened during installation (not the manufacturer's fault). After fixing the issue, the oil is no longer leaking.

Excellent fit 1998 camry le doesn't need a seal silicon you can use very light amount to stick the gasket and wait 40 minutes than put the oil pan back.

It’s a quality cork/rubber gasket. The 1998 Camry 2.2 L actually came with a gasket maker type gasket from the factory. I was glad to see that companies are starting to make a gasket for it.

We just installed gasket with no problem. The price was great and the company has been great for years.

These people are awesome. I bought a gasket but ended up not needing it. I did a return and within less than 2 hours they refunded my money back to my Amazon account. I highly recommend them. If I need anything that they sell I will buy from them. Five Star all the way!

Bought it for 1996 Camry which was leaking from the oil pan. Tried multiple different gaskets, and also tried using only silicone gasket maker. None of them fully stop the leak. The left side of the engine block on the Camry is a known probably area for leaks, whether you use a gasket or silicone. This gasket worked better than using only silicone, and it worked better than another gasket brand. However, with an old car and faulty design, it still has leaks about one or two drops overnight.

I got this for my daughter's 2001 Camry 2.2. The gasket works. I realize that Toyota recommends their form-a-gasket stuff. I've just had better luck with gaskets on Toyota's I've owned in the past. This is not a vote for or against either one, it's just that I do the work on the garage floor and trying to angle the pan between me, the exhaust, and the bottom-end of the motor I will inevitably rub off the gasket forming stuff. So I just try and find a gasket.Anyway, the gasket works. No oil leak after a few months. It's Fel-Pro, which is a good brand. And my daughter is set.
