This head gasket set was missing seals and gaskets that should be included. Missing items-8 fuel injector "O" rings, front crank seal, 27 rocker cover bolt seals and an oil pan plug nylon seal ring. Why would FelPro include only 8 fuel injector seal rings when 16 are required? A front crank seal is required as a member of the front cover's seal set, why is it missing? 27 rocker cover bolt seals are required as members of the rocker covers' seal set and why are they missing? I've never had an oil plug seal missing from a head gasket set until now. Why should that item be missing? You people at FelPro are beyond contempt I'm done with you!

This Fel Pro HS-9790-PT-15 head gasket set is the best set available for the Ford 2V 4.6 or 5.4L motors. It does include Fel Pro's Permatorque MLS head gaskets ( new multi layer steel design ). This is the head gasket design that works best with mixed metal engine designs like the Ford 4.6/5.4 motors, with aluminum heads and cast iron blocks. If your Triton motor has over 100k miles on it, you can be looking to replace the head gaskets at any time. Do you smell exhaust fumes in your coolant reservoir ? See black carbon deposits? It starts out small, like a low pressure build up in the coolant reservoir, and you'll smell exhaust fumes in the reservoir, and may be blowing some coolant overboard, or losing it unexplained. That Steel Seal sealant will get you by for a little while, but the permanent fix is to replace the old factory head gaskets with these new MLS designed gaskets, then you'll never have another issue with it. Fel Pro doesn't advertise that this kit comes with the MLS head gaskets but they should. Much better than the old straight material head gaskets.

I bought this when I was replacing head gaskets on my 2003 Ford Expedition. The part fit great and looks just like OE.

Great product at a great price. Would get five stars if they didn't short me a valve cover gasket. My fault. I didn't inventory the package until I had already installed the head gaskets.

These gaskets arrived very quickly, and were exactly as pictured and described. They were well packaged and in excellent shape. The only reason they are not in my truck yet, is due to having difficulty finding a mechanic that is willing to deal with the dual timing chains that my engine has.
