99 F250 super duty 7.3. I bought this locally in place of Ford part F81Z-8255-AA (also known as RG-602). For my application, this is for the elbow below the thermostat (the elbow that the large lower radiator hose connects to). Fel-Pro 35702 is the gasket for the thermostat itself.On account of a slightly rough surface from corrosion I opted to use a thin layer of ultra grey RTV to help this seal. It fits and works perfectly.

I bought and installed this in my '97 Ford F-350 Ol' Red (a crew cabbed, manual transmissioned, long bedded, and painted white with house paint beastie) and woop-ti-do! No more leaking! While, yes, I agree, the price seems a bit extravagant for what it is, would you cheap out by $2 to buy a generic gasket for this critical role? A pressure sealing gasket that sees upwards of (gasp) 16 pounds? I know I wouldn't and I sleep well knowing my thermostat housing is no longer seeping at the junction betwixt it and the water pump (or bomba de agua for our amigos al sur de la frontera). HOLLA ! ! !

The new style thermostat I also purchased had a gasket molded onto it so this was not needed. If you are replacing the thermostat and housing you might not need this seal.
