Fit good on the engine. Had to get different intake gaskets due to installing newer actual vortec heads on an older engine. Not the kits fault.

Head gaskets are fine. Note that the manifold gaskets are for the non-vortec intakes.

Manufacturer’s website is impossible to lookup marine part #’s (listing cars/trucks in the parts drop down menu) under the marine section. Relying on other reviews, I bought this kit knowing that the intake manifold gasket wouldn’t fit a 1998 Volvo Penta 4.3GL Vortec but everything else would match. It was cheaper to buy this kit than buying every gasket separately. I purchased the correct intake manifold gaskets separately. Good enough and the rest of the kit fit perfect! If only I could have found the correct kit for my engine on their website or a google search - but it was impossible to determine if a Fel-Pro kit exists for my engine. It’s a nice kit just beware that the intake manifold gaskets may not fit a 1996 + 4.3 vortec, like other reviews have said

The gasket in this kit is for the older vortecs/ Volvo Pentas with 12 bolt intake manifold. Bought this for my 2000 Volvo Penta which only has 8 bolts and aren’t in same orientation of the gasket. Make sure to double check before purchasing.
