I had another pack of "Feeder Creek" flies that arrived in similar condition to these. They were packed loose, which isn't really that big of a deal, but some of the wooly buggers had a big quality difference compared to others in the same pack, so there's an inconsistent quality issue going on. That being said, I don't really think the fish would mind, it's just something to be aware of. I think these would be a good starter kit.

These flies are very well made and would be comparable to any others that you might purchase. The hooks are sharp and the flies are well balanced. The fish seem to be very attracted to the olive woolly bugger pattern and I have really enjoyed them so far!

These are totally reasonable quality for the price. They're tied pretty consistently and fairly well made.

I use a lot of woolly bugger flies. Living in the Midwest, woolly buggers are great for catching all sorts of warm water fish like bass, bluegill, crappie, etc… These flies get it all done.I tried these flies recently to see how they performed on a local lake during a very mild November day. I didn't expect much for this time of the year, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Within a half hour I caught a bass, a crappie, a bluegill and an orange shiner. The bead head allowed the fly to get down to where the fish were and apparently they liked the action because it was a very productive and fun time. And with all of the action I was getting, the fly survived intact and I will be able to use it again. No complaints here!

✍️ I expect these white Woolly Bugger flies to work very nicely. The craftmanship of the fly is good. The fly is a snow white color. The body is has just the right amount of white fuzz. The hackle is wrapped tightly. I really like the tails. They are feathery and have a few strands of shiny strands. The gold bead head is the right size too. I'm pleased with these and would buy them again.🏗️Design: 9/10💪Durability: 8/10🤖Functionality: 8/10💰Value: 9/10Star Rating :5⭐ - Product Exceeds Expectations4⭐ - Product Meets Expectations3⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Minor Flaws2⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Major Flaws1⭐ - Product Does Not Meet Expectations🙏🏻Thank you for reading my review❗

I can buy equivalent quality flies at about half the cost. These Feeder Creek Fly Fishing Flies are overpriced but should be work ok.

I love fishing woolly buggers both on my fly rod as well as trolling behind a flasher on the boat. I love them because…uh, THEY WORK! Most of my woolly buggers are olive and black but I have wanted to try brown since it has a great natural “buggy” look. I ordered this set of Feeder Creek brown woolly buggers in size 8 and I am quite pleased with the product. They appear to be well-tied with proper body-to-tail proportions. There are also some nice touches like a wire wrap, a touch of crystal flash in the tail, and a mid-size bead head. The wire wrap will help with durability, especially when I’m fishing local lakes that are heavily stocked with planters. The bead head has just a touch of epoxy on the threads which will also help with the aforementioned durability. In the photos I included a few other woolly buggers to show differences like a lack of wire wrap (olive) and lack of bead head (black). Not completely bad…just different. The price point is a touch high (6 flies for $12) but if the quality lives up to the appearance, it will be worth the investment. I’m going to give these five stars at this point. A possible edit will follow after I get a chance to fish them.

So the brown wooly buggers tail was red. There was a lot of variability on these flies. Some had hackles the full body and others more of just a collar. Different sized bead heads for the same size fly. Except for the largest flies the beads are much smaller in comparison (don't look like the pix in the ad), so need to add weight for rivers. Marabou was pretty decent. Overall these are the kind of quality you'd get if you were tying your first bugger. I'm not unhappy I bought them - they will catch fish and a brown felt pen will fix the tails, but lower your expectations if you are buying these.

Good quality. But not as good as homemade. BUT I would purchase again.
